Make your own glass

Course Description

CLASS DURATION (2 persons Min) 2 persons 1hr. Make your own Beta Bowl or paperweight in this fun and challenging class! Be aware that you will sweat and work closely to the molten glass so it requires quite a bit of nerve. You will learn how to handle the steel pipe, and reheat the glass. Then you will then blow and shape the glass while it’s hot and moving. Once the piece is blown out you will plunge the bottom into a tripod stand that becomes unique to your piece. The final step is to transfer the piece and open the lip. Optionally you can make a paperweight instead of the beta bowl. Each participant will work at the bench approximately 20 minutes. Your piece will be ready to pick up 24-48 hours after the course depending on our annealing cycle. Sunglasses and shoes that cover your toes are required. Ages 10 and up.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 48 hours or more in advance you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the course you will receive a 50% refund. If we cancel at any time you will have the opportunity to reschedule or get a full refund.
