Indah was born and raised in Madiun, East java, in 1978. Her father was an electrical engineer for the Indonesian Government. He always enjoyed handy-work. When it came to needing a helping hand, he always chose Indah. Thus, she developed handy skills herself and learned to be an independent do it yourselfer at a very early age. When it came time for college, Indah chose the army reserves for her education. She swiftly became a leader in her boot camp days and often tells stories of having to drag other women through the mud while burdened with a heavy pack, M-16, and all the gear soldiers carry. At Age 23 she graduated and went to work in the administration of a furniture export company. Then in the year 2000, she began work at a tool and dye making company. By 2003 she had moved up the ranks and opened her own business. She quickly become a sales trainer for another – a company in Malang, East java. In 2006 she left her position in the company to join her sister in Bali where she continued her career in free lance sales.
In 2006 Indah met Ron Seivertson and they swiftly fell in love. Indah took on the managing director position at Horizon Glassworks and the rest is history. Ron and Indah are a powerful team and share an ambitious vision. Over the past decade, here in Bali, they have committed their lives to make Horizon a great success and build a legacy of pioneering excellence committed to furthering the “Studio Glass Movement.” Certainly without Indah and her great level of commitment and determination Horizon would not be where it is today.
